DR. MARGARET A. CLARKE MEMORIAL AWARD FOR BEST PAPER

Margaret A. Clarke, Ph.D.

This award was adopted by the board of directors on April 9, 2000 and later amended in the by-laws on February 27, 2001.

The Dr. Margaret A. Clarke Memorial Award for Best Paper is in honor of the endless efforts, dedication and time Dr. Clarke devoted to the Sugar Industry and its success.

The award will be presented at each biennial S.P.R.I. Conference in recognition of the best paper presented at the conference. The award will be presented at the Award Banquet.

The award shall consist of a cash honorarium in the amount of $1,000 and a plaque. The winner of the award need not be present to receive the award. A representative of the winner's company may be designated to accept the award on behalf of the winner, should the winner be unable to attend the Award's Banquet.
